Who We Are
Before I became a nurse, I was the kid who quietly paid attention to every symptom, curious about what the body was trying to say. I’d flip through old medical books just to understand what those signs might mean, long before Google made it easy. I’ve always been drawn to patterns, puzzles, and the small details others tend to overlook. Nursing gave that instinct a professional path. Today, that same drive fuels my work: helping people make sense of complex health situations, bring clarity to confusing moments, and feel grounded when the system leaves them overwhelmed.
I am a Registered Nurse with a Master of Public Health, and a Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC), with extensive experience in public health practice and undergraduate nursing faculty roles at both the university and college level. My work is rooted in social justice, clinical systems, and health communication, bridging the gap between health care delivery and the lived realities of individuals and families. For years, I have also been the go-to person for friends, family, and even strangers, helping them understand their health when they feel that the official explanations fall short or leave them feeling unheard.
The Client Room was created to fill the quiet spaces in care; those in-between moments where people are often left to navigate complex decisions and uncertainty alone. Over the years, I have witnessed the impact of delayed clarity, missed context, and assumptions about what people know or can manage on their own. This work is about making sure fewer people fall through those knowledge gaps.
I created this space for individuals and families who want trusted guidance: someone who can break down the big stuff, flag what matters, and walk alongside you when it is too much to figure out alone. This is not about giving second opinions, it’s about helping you hear the first one clearly.
