Our Services

Whether you need just one session, or ongoing support, our services are designed to align with your needs, with as much or as little involvement as you require.

Services are available as individual sessions and à La Carte options, or ongoing retainers for individuals and families managing complex care.

Not sure what fits best? Start with a free 20-minute consultation call, and we will discuss what would be most appropriate for your needs.

If it turns out that The Client Room is not the right fit, for your needs, timing, or expectations, we will be honest about that. We don’t force services or push supports that do not feel right.

  • If you’ve just received a new diagnosis, test result, or treatment plan and you’re unsure what it means or what to do next, this session gives you the time and support to unpack it all. We’ll go through your documents together, break down the key information, and prepare you with questions and next steps. You’ll leave with a written summary and a clearer path forward. Our goal is to equip you with the tools to better advocate for you and your health.

    Best for:
    • New or complex diagnoses
    • Multiple lab/imaging results
    • Planning next steps after a major appointment
    • Needing written notes or follow-up questions
    • Feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to begin

    * 60 minutes | Document upload/review prior to session

  • This is a quicker check-in for when you’re trying to make sense of one issue or health-related decision, without needing a full deep dive. Whether something was unclear at your last appointment, you're weighing a next step, or just need to talk something through, this session helps you get clarity fast and walk away with a plan for what to ask or do next.

    Best for:
    • One specific concern or decision
    • Quick education or direction
    • A confusing moment from a recent appointment
    • Wanting a sounding board before your next step
    • Not ready to commit to a full consult

    * 30 minutes | No document upload

  • If you have an upcoming appointment and want to feel more prepared, this session helps you plan exactly what to ask, what to bring up, and how to stay focused when time is limited.

We’ll walk through what’s most important to cover, organize your priorities, and create a set of questions or talking points to guide your visit, so you leave feeling like you said what mattered and got the answers you needed.

    Best for:
    • Upcoming specialist or provider visits
    • Wanting to feel more confident and clear
    • Concerns about being rushed or overlooked
    • Preparing for a second opinion or complex decision
    • Making the most of a short appointment window

    * 60 minutes | Optional document upload (e.g., past referrals or specialist letters)

  • If your appointment left you with more questions than answers, this session helps you make sense of what was shared and figure out what comes next. We’ll talk through the key points, identify what’s still unclear, and map out practical next steps to help you stay organized and prepared.

You’ll leave with a written summary, follow-up questions to bring back to your provider, and a clear direction forward, especially if things still feel unresolved.

    Best for:
    • Feeling uncertain after a rushed or overwhelming appointment
    • Trying to recall or process what was said
    • Conflicting messages or lack of clarity from providers
    • Wanting to follow up but unsure how or when
    • Needing help to organize next steps and take action

    * 60 minutes | Optional document upload (e.g., visit notes, test results)

  • When multiple family members are involved in someone’s care, things can quickly get confusing, tense, or disorganized. This session brings everyone to the table to get on the same page, clarify roles, and plan next steps, so nothing falls through the cracks.

We guide the conversation with a neutral, structured approach to reduce conflict, improve communication, and make sure the person at the centre of care stays supported.

    Best for:
    • Families managing care for an aging parent or complex condition
    • Confusion around who’s doing what or what’s already been done
    • Disagreements or stress around medical decisions or next steps
    • Wanting to create a shared plan and avoid gaps in care
    • Needing support to navigate a tough conversation together

    * 75 minutes | Optional document upload

  • When health situations move fast; a hospital admission, sudden discharge, or major shift in care, families are often left overwhelmed and unsure what’s actually happening or what needs to happen next.

This session provides immediate support to help you get oriented, understand what’s been shared so far, and plan your next steps with confidence. We can meet virtually or, if you’re in the GTA, at the hospital bedside to support you and your family directly.

    Best for:
    • Unplanned hospitalizations or discharges
    • Sudden change in diagnosis or condition
    • Needing to quickly coordinate family or next steps
    • Feeling overwhelmed by information or unclear instructions
    • Wanting an experienced advocate during high-pressure moments

    * 75 minutes | Optional upload of documents

  • This is a high-level, full-scope session for individuals or families who’ve been navigating a complex health situation and feel like they’ve hit a wall. If things feel fragmented, stalled, or confusing, this is where we step back, assess the full picture, and start rebuilding clarity and direction.

We review all relevant documents, walk through the timeline and key events, and work with you to identify gaps, next steps, and questions to bring forward. You'll leave with a written overview, clear action points, and a renewed sense of control in a system that hasn’t made things easy.

    Best for:
    • Long-term or complex diagnoses
    • Families who’ve been managing care across multiple providers
    • Feeling lost in follow-ups, referrals, or lack of direction
    • Needing help organizing timelines, priorities, and questions
    • Preparing to advocate more effectively at your next stage of care

    * 90 minutes | Includes pre-session document intake and full written summary

Ongoing Support Plans

  • The Concierge Advocacy Retainer is the most comprehensive service tier offered through The Client Room. It is designed for individuals or families facing complex, high-stakes, or rapidly evolving health circumstances, where active, ongoing support is essential.

    This premium retainer includes:

    • Proactive coordination of care across multiple providers and settings

    • Serve as a liaison to help coordinate appointment changes, follow up on referrals, and navigate delays or breakdowns in communication with providers

    • Direct communication with providers (e.g., nurses, offices, clinics) to clarify plans, advocate for next steps, or address issues as they arise

    • Virtual or in-person appointment presence when appropriate

    • Ongoing review and interpretation of medical documentation and updates

    • Flexible access to strategic support, with rapid response and regular touchpoints

Unlike other retainers, this tier is highly involved and anticipatory: clients receive personalized, continuous support behind the scenes, not just session-based guidance. This level is ideal for those who need a deeply engaged, trusted nurse advocate to help manage the day-to-day realities of navigating the healthcare system.

  • The Individual Support Retainer provides consistent, one-on-one guidance for clients managing ongoing health concerns. It is designed for those who want regular check-ins, health system navigation help, and expert insight without the intensity of higher tiers.

    This retainer includes:

    • Structured sessions for planning, education, and review of medical issues

    • Support understanding test results, reports, or provider recommendations

    • Help preparing for key appointments or following up after them

This is a contained, lower-intensity support tier for individuals who are capable of managing logistics themselves but want reassurance and clarity. It does not include appointment presence, active provider outreach, or coordination outside of sessions.

  • The Family Support Retainer offers structured, ongoing advocacy and coordination for families supporting one or more individuals with complex or chronic health conditions. It helps ensure shared understanding, alignment in decision-making, and reduced stress during critical transitions.

    This retainer includes:

    • Scheduled strategy and support sessions

    • Assistance preparing for and debriefing medical appointments

    • Clarification of diagnoses, care plans, and system navigation challenges

    • Targeted support during acute events, hospitalizations, or changing care needs

While responsive and family-focused, this retainer does not include appointment presence, ongoing provider outreach, or unscheduled communication between sessions. It’s best suited to families who want to feel confident, clear, and supported, without requiring full-service advocacy.

  • The Advisory Retainer is a light-touch, low-access option designed for clients who do not require case management but want occasional guidance, a second set of eyes, or expert feedback.

    This retainer includes:

    • Strategic consultations and recommendations

    • Document review and plain-language summaries (by request)

    • Email access for brief questions or direction between sessions

It’s ideal for individuals navigating the system independently or with other supports in place. It does not include appointment presence, provider communication, or direct involvement in care logistics.
